What we do
Eight services, one engineering standard
Most clients arrive with one problem and stay for the rest. Each service below stands alone, and each is delivered by the same people to the same standard.
Web portals & platforms
The core of what we do. A portal that consolidates the records, approvals and day-to-day operations currently spread across email, shared drives and whatever spreadsheet the office manager guards.
You start from a working system and we configure it, rather than paying us to rediscover how permissions and audit trails should work.
Optimised for the bandwidth your staff actually have, including older machines on internal networks.
Keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels and colour contrast that meets WCAG AA, tested before release.
Source code, architecture notes and runbooks are handed over as standard, not sold as an add-on.
AI & automation
Applied to the specific, boring, expensive tasks where it earns its keep. We start by measuring how long something takes today, then automate it and measure again.
Pull structured fields out of scanned forms, invoices and reports, with a human review step for anything below a confidence threshold.
Classify incoming requests and send them to the right person or queue, without a rules engine nobody can maintain.
A question-answering layer over your own policies and documentation, so staff stop asking the same five people.
Self-hosted models or a private cloud tenancy when your data can't leave your control.
Mobile applications
For the people in your organisation who don't sit at a desk. Field staff, drivers, ward nurses, site supervisors — the ones a web-only system quietly excludes.
The app talks to the same API as your portal, so data never diverges and you maintain one set of business rules.
Local storage with conflict-aware sync, for basements, warehouses and rural sites.
We manage the App Store and Play Console process, review responses and release cadence.
Compatible with MDM enrolment where your organisation manages company devices.
Systems integration
Connecting the things you already run. Most organisations don't need fewer systems — they need the ones they have to stop lying to each other.
Every integration ships with a written specification, so the next engineer isn't reverse-engineering your business.
Retries, dead-letter queues and alerting, because third-party systems go down and silence is the worst outcome.
Fixed-width files, SOAP endpoints and databases nobody has touched since 2011 are normal work for us.
HL7 and FHIR in healthcare, ISO 20022 in payments, rather than inventing a bespoke format.
Cloud & IT support
The unglamorous work that determines whether a system is still healthy in year three. Monitoring, patching, backups that have actually been restored from.
Severity levels and response commitments are in the support agreement, not implied on a pricing page.
A backup you have never restored is a hypothesis. We run scheduled restore drills and report the results.
Security updates applied on a schedule, with a staging environment so nothing surprises you in production.
Someone who knows your architecture picks up the phone, rather than a first-line queue reading a script.
Data migration
Usually the part that sinks a project. We treat it as its own workstream with its own sign-off, not as a task at the end of the build.
We produce a match report your team signs off before go-live. Nothing is assumed correct because it imported without error.
Old records keep their original timestamps and authorship rather than all appearing to have been created on migration day.
The source data is archived intact and handed back to you, so a decision made today is reversible tomorrow.
Where it matters, the old and new systems run in parallel until you're confident enough to switch.
Dedicated teams
When you need capacity rather than another product. Senior engineers and designers who join your sprints, use your tooling and follow your standards.
We don't staff junior developers against senior rates. Everyone we place has shipped and maintained production systems.
Your repository, your review standards, your stand-ups. We adapt to how your team works rather than importing ours.
Working hours arranged to overlap meaningfully with your team's, wherever you are.
Knowledge transfer is scheduled from the start, so the engagement ending doesn't leave a hole.
Brand & product design
Identity and interface work for organisations whose credibility isn't yet visible from the outside. Design systems, not one-off mockups.
Type scale, colour tokens, spacing and components documented so your site and product stay consistent as they grow.
Designs are handed over with real specifications and working components, not a static file and good luck.
Interface writing is part of the design, because half of what makes a screen usable is the words on it.
Contrast, focus states and touch targets are decided in design rather than patched in QA.
Engagement models
Three ways to work with us
Pick the one that matches how much certainty you have. Most clients start with the first and move to the third.
Defined project
A written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date. Best when you know what you need built and want budget certainty. Change requests are priced separately and agreed before work starts.
Ongoing partnership
A monthly retainer covering development, support and a set amount of new work. Best once a system is live and evolving. Cancellable with 30 days' notice.
Team augmentation
Engineers who join your team, your repository and your process for a defined period. Best when you have the direction and need the hands.
How we work
Live in six weeks, not six quarters
Big systems fail when they arrive everywhere at once. We ship a working slice early, prove it with real users, then expand on a schedule you control.
Discover
We sit with your team and map how work actually moves — including the paper forms and side spreadsheets nobody mentions in meetings.
Configure
Roles, permissions, forms and data structures are set up to match your organisation. Existing records are migrated and reconciled with you.
Pilot
One department goes live with hands-on support. Training happens in short sessions on real shifts, not a full-day workshop.
Scale & support
Departments come online one at a time. Support continues after handover — you are not left with a login and a PDF.
Tell us what's slowing you down.
A short call, an honest assessment, and a written scope — whether or not you end up working with us.
